Working days 2009
Here are the working party dates for 2009 until the autumn.

Thursday 1 January
Sunday 22 February
Sunday 29 March
Sunday 26 April
Sunday 31 May
Sunday 28 June
Sunday 26 July
Sunday 23 August
Sunday 27 September

Additional dates will be arranged for the autumn and will be posted on the website and on the notice board at the entrance to Centenary Fields in Vicarage Road.

The New Year's Day work party is when our volunteers celebrate the new year with mulled wine and a mince pie - but only after some invigorating and constructive exercise! Make a New Year resolution to come and join us.

Times
Unless stated otherwise above, each session is two hours long, from 10 am to 12 noon. We meet in the Butterfly Garden - down track to left of the Vicarage in Vicarage Road (see lower right on the map here).

Work Parties
Volunteers should bring their own tools.
Please bring stout gloves and remember to wear clothes and shoes/wellies suitable for the weather and the task. Also, bring the tools you will need for the day. These normally include forks, spades, long-handled loppers/pruners, scissors and plastic sheets or sacks. Anything needed beyond these will be listed beforehand on the notice board at the Vicarage Road entrance to Centenary Fields.

There are tasks to suit all abilities, including those with limited skills.
Groups and Saturday morning work parties can be arranged if you notify us well in advance.
